Wii TowerDefense 0.50

This is the first official release for the wii homebrew scene:!: I hope everybody like the game! Comments are welcome.

– First official release for the Wii Homebrew Scene.
– Process most of the comments of the Beta testers.
– Improve “Game Over” screen.
– Improve game information panel on screen.
– Improve scroll bar button design.
– Improve Help text.
– Reduced amount of enemies in one wave.
– Increase user initials for 3 to 6 digits.
– Balance sound effect volume.
– Improve weapons upgrade ranges.
– Use GRRLib v4.2.0 as graphic engine.
– Build game with devkitPPC r19 compiler.

  1. Hey, I played this game earlier today (as you can see in high scores – yes, I was second or so…) and have to say it’s a good game. It’s so easy, though. I developed a defense that nobody could possibly go through the very first turn (map 1 I think). The second most expensive weapon is so fast and you can stack them over and over and over… Really I had to turn it off, because I had nothing to do.

    But it was fun playing that! Thanks a lot!

    1. Hi Michal. Thanks for you reply. I am working on a next release (0.60). This version will be a lot harder to play. Weapons can not be stacked anymore and enemies will walk faster after some time.

    Just tried it but didn’t get past level 27 yet..

    1. Made it to level 124 yesterday (by stacking, yes that needs to be fixed..lol) but somehow the sending of the highscore failed. My score ended up like 20 times or so in the todays score list with a date of 1-1-1970.
      Very fun game though, love it!

      1. Hi kees, I will investicate the network issue. Never see that behalviour before! Tonight i will anyway release v0.60. Lots of small improvements are added. So have fun during the christmas 😀
