Note: I check these websites on daily bases. I personally think these are the best Wii Homebrew sites on the internet. Miss now all the action what is going on in the scene. 🙁

Today the following Windows tools PlaatStats, PlaatScore, ChatCostCalc and the Windows game RedSquare are added to freewarefiles.com repository. This popular website will make better promotion for the software resulting in more downloads. The first day all ready 60 downloads were recorded! Great!
Exactly 14th years ago PlaatSoft was started. So time for a small flashback. It was a great second year. The last year Wii TowerDefense, Drupal ChurchAdmin, PlaatStats, PlaatScore, RedSquare for Windows were developed with more then 195.000 downloads in total so far.
Plaatsoft.nl is the 9070th largest site in Netherlands (within .NL). Check the serversiders site for more information.
The coming year more exciting games and tools will be created. So please checkout this website regular.
Yesterday my first Symbian application is lanched on the Ovi Store. I have created a RSS viewer for my PlaatSoft posts. If you want to download the symbian application please start the OVI browser on your mobile and type “Plaatsoft” in the searchbox. Other approach is, visit the following link
Yesterday I joined the Flattr community. I hope this investment will payout in the coming time!
Flattr is a micropayment system, which launched publicly in March 2010 on an invite-only basis, and then opened up to the public in August 2010.
Flattr is a project started by Peter Sunde and Linus Olsson. Users will be able to pay a small monthly amount and then click buttons on sites to share out the money they paid in among those sites, sort of like an Internet tip jar. The minimum users will have to pay is 2 euros per month. Sunde said, “the money you pay each month will be spread evenly among the buttons you click in a month. We want to encourage people to share money as well as content.
This afternoon I have upgraded my Wii firmware from version 4.2e to 4.3e. Now i can use the Wii shopping channel again. Also the pre-installed Homebrew Channel (version 1.0.8) and my free developed and downloaded games are still working fine. So i am a happy man!
Important: You have first to upgrade the Homebrew Channel to 1.0.8 before upgrade the Wii Firmware else the Homebrew Channel will be deleted during the Wii Firmware upgrade.

– Improve menu structure
This evening my three year old son drop accidentally my Nintendo DS in the toilet. 🙁 Too bad, I was not at home so my wife tried to dry it and switch it on again. Only the upper screen lighted up and after a few seconds the DS died. Is it possible to repair a Nintendo DS with water damage? Reaction are welcome!
This evening I have upgraded my friends Wii firmware from version 3.0e to 4.2e. Before I upgraded the Wii firmware I first installed the Homebrew channel (1.0.6) and hidden DVDx channel with the Bannerbomb exploit. This hack is really easy. It took my only 5 minutes to complete all steps. After that I successful upgraded the Wii firmware to 4.2e and installed all (new) available Nintendo channels through the Wii shopping channel. This took about 45 minutes.
Conclusion: Installing the Homebrew and DVDx channel was never so easy. I hope lots of other Wii owners will upgrade there Wii and will explore the world of free Homebrew software. 😀
Latest week I have added to all my Wii projects extra source code documentation based on javadoc notation style. With doxygen (Doxygen is a documentation system for C++, C, Java, Objective-C, and lots of other programming languages) i have created HTML documentation. This documentation is added to the Google SVN repositories. I hope this will help you to understand the source code better.

Most large open source projects (for example Firefox, Gcc, Bash, subversion, Apache, etc.) have joined this great community. It would be really nice that you give me some credits for my work in this community. – Remove all Ads because revenue was really poor so far!
– Remove total website page counter.
– Upgrade Atahualpa thema from v3.1.8 to v3.4.4 because old version did not working anymore correct with WordPress 2.9.0. Posted comments were not visible anymore!
Because of the Atahualpa theme upgrade the following functionality was initially not working anymore:
– Show page view counter (Fixed)
– Comment spam protection (Fixed)
– Show category icons (Fixed)
– Post rating (Disabled plug-in, not needed anymore)
